Needlefelt Soot Sprite, Chibi, Chu, and Totoro

The soot sprite, Chibi Totoro, Chu Totoro, and Giant Totoro have all been reunited. And look! They're posing for me, that's wonderful!

This is the full set that was commissioned from me for Christmas. The acorn and soot sprite are both roughly an inch tall, the Chibi Totoro stands about 5 1/2 inches tall at the tip of its ears, Chu Totoro is about 7 1/2 inches tall, and the Giant Totoro is a whopping 11 inches tall!

All of these guys are part of a set that was commissioned for Christmas; when the commissioner asked me to make a set of needlefelt plushes based on Hayao Miyazaki's film "My Neighbor Totoro" I was quite elated! I had been wanting to make Totoros for quite a while, and this was the perfect excuse. Since I doubt that the person receiving these gifts knows of my DA, I feel free to upload photos for you guys to see.

While I couldn't complete something in time for *this* Christmas, I am always accepting commissions for pieces like these.
